The Apatani tribe is an indigenous ethnic group residing primarily in the Ziro Valley of Arunachal Pradesh's Lower Subansiri district. They are known for their distinctive cultural identity marked by wet rice cultivation, intricate handloom and bamboo crafts, and vibrant traditional village councils called bulyañ.
